The "Making of" Finding Pandora X - a new documentary

I'm so incredibly proud of the groundbreaking work that I have done with Kiira Benzing over the years, and particularly proud of our award-winning immersive VR theater piece, Finding Pandora X.

Four years ago, we launched Finding Pandora X at the Venice International Film Festival. It was a blend of live performance, immersive storytelling and gamified sequences in a branching narrative, all unfolding in real-time in VRChat.

Winning the first Lion Award for a VR Theatre production at Venice was a pivotal moment for Double Eye Studios. The award highlighted VR Theatre as a groundbreaking medium that connects audiences across distances. With the theme of "hope" at its core, this audience connection was particularly important as we all faced the challenges of a global pandemic.
